World Book Day 2023
Today we celebrated World Book Day with a special theme of 'Bugs and Insects'. There was an exciting 'buzz' in the school as we admired all the lovely bugs and insects. We absolutely love books and we’re always happy to have D.E.A.R. time (Drop Everything and Read). We talked about our favourite books and the different places we can go when we read – magical kingdoms, castles, and anywhere our imagination and the story takes us. It was fun talking about our favourite characters and dressing up! During assembly we enjoyed a 'story' themed quiz as a whole school. We also celebrated reading with our buddies from other classes. Room 3 visited Room 1 and Room 4 visited Room 2. Happy World Book Day everyone!
