Lá Glas 2023
On Thursday 16th March we celebrated Lá Glas. All pupils looked fantastic in their many shades of green. Throughout the week as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge the children made a huge effort to speak Irish in their classrooms and during break times. An array of Gníomhaíochtaí Glasa were organised by teachers ranging from ealáin agus ceardaíocht, cócaireacht, ceol, cluichí agus cross country trails.
On Thursday we participated in a beautiful prayer service for Saint Patrick with Fr Corrigan. Thank you to Mrs Mc Elroy for accompanying the school choir for the prayer service. Each class then entertained us and they were all outstanding! As a whole school we danced with the Infants and sang 'Ireland's Call' le chéile!
