Science Week 9th-16th November
Pupils enjoyed a week of learning, exploration and experiments.
The infant room created a rainbow of colour by diluting skittles in water. They experimented with raisins making them dance in carbonated water.
1st and 2nd investigated transportation in plants, experimented with static electricity, and looked at the effects of heat and cold on jelly.
3rd and 4th experimented with substances to create and observe chemical reactions, making an erupting volcano, combining coke and Mentos to create pressure and fizz! They mixed baking soda and vinegar to make their own carbon dioxide gas.
5th and 6th took on a STEM challenge: building skyscrapers and developing on their maths and science vocabulary as they planned, tested, and problem-solved their designs.
