Welcome to our Website! Fáilte!
I am extremely proud to be the Principal of Latnamard NS and to welcome you to our school website. We thank you for taking the time to explore. We hope that this website will give you an insight into the life of our school and provide you with some useful information. We hope to keep you regularly updated with our latest news and upcoming events on this page.
Latnamard NS is such a warm, welcoming and friendly school. We have an amazing group of pupils and we are extremely proud of their outstanding achievements. In our school we encourage all our pupils to take pride in their work and to value their achievements. Our aim is to create a happy environment where each pupil is encouraged ‘to always try their best.’ At Latnamard NS we believe in creating a happy environment where each child’s uniqueness and abilities are recognised and celebrated throughout.
We are extremely fortunate to have a great team here in Latnamard NS. The teachers create an inclusive environment with an outstanding work ethic for all our pupils. Their commitment and dedication to teaching and learning is evident in every aspect of our school. The staff in Latnamard work collaboratively and collectively towards the teaching and learning here.
We value the partnership between home and school and we are hopeful that this website will help others know more about our school in general. We would like to thank all parents for their support, guidance and help throughout the years. Our Parents Association is extremely active in our school e.g. treasure hunt, fun quiz, annual sponsored walk etc. and their participation in school events is very much appreciated.
While all partners such as staff, parents, Board of Management, Parents Association and the local community are highly valued for their individual roles and high levels of teamwork, it is the children that are central to everything we work towards in our school.
Please take time to explore our website and develop a sense of life at Latnamard NS.
Le dea-ghuí,
Gina Curley (Principal)
